Enjoying the Weather

Much to Bella's delight, we were able to walk to the park on Thursday. It was so nice to get out of the house without a mad dash to the car. Anthony loved being out in the sun and watching Bella on the swings. Our trip was cut short by an explosive dirty diaper, but it was fun anyway.

Bella has started Hooked on Phonics (thanks Julie!) and is becoming quite the little reader. She actually got bored today while doing a computer game about letter sounds. She just wants to skip ahead and read whatever she can. It's fun to watch her sound out the words and then she laughs at the story when she comprehends what she just read aloud. I was just looking at her baby book tonight and I can't believe how much she has learned (and how much she has grown!) in 4 1/2 years. It makes me want to hold on to every minute I have with Anthony while he is still little.

Little Man tried cereal for the first time this week. As expected, he didn't like it. He just kept spitting it back out which means he's not quite ready yet, but we'll keep trying. We took video of the feeding with our old camara and we're still trying to figure out how to get it on our new computer. But, as you can see he's a good little eater and I think he'll catch on soon.
