Insurance Woes

Yesterday, Jason and I had our monthly run in with our health insurance company. Only this time it was worse than ever. We contributed to a Flex Spending Acct to pay our deductible and we tried to send in our last claim of the year and the number was disconnected. Jason called the company and they sold all of their accts to another company. So, he called company #2 and they said they are only dealing with the 2007 accounts not 2006 and they gave us a number for company #3. We called them and they couldn't find our account so they sent us back to company #2. At this point we have no idea which company has our $870.
Definity Health has given us nothing but problems since we signed up. About once a month they get a claim wrong and one of us has to spend an hour or so on the phone fixing it. Not to mention the time Jason spends at work dealing with the Textron HR dept. It's gotten so expensive that this year we might just ditch it and buy our own insurance. So, if anyone has any suggestions...

If your interested here is an article in Smart Money on companies like Definity Health.
